Alice Springs is an Outback Australian town with a population of roughly 30,000 people. The town is a tourist hotspot for the majority of the year with an abundance of activities to do and places to see. 

The town sits at the foot of the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges, surrounded by rich red soil. Contrary to popular opinion, the landscape surrounding the town is quite hilly with an abundance of mountain climbs and walking trails e.g. the famous Larapinta Trail.

The community of Alice Springs overall is a very active community. There is an abundance of sporting teams right from netball on Saturday mornings to touch football on Thursday nights - there's something for everyone!

Alice is also known to host many different sports games on a National level throughout the year. Some examples include an official NRL Pre-Season match, the Big Bash League and an A-League AFL match. 

Probably one of the most popular events held in The Alice is the Masters Games. The Games are held every second year with a vast range of events right from Archery and BMX, to Go Karting and Model Aircraft Flying. To enter The Games you must be at least 25 years of age or older. Each year The Games are on, the town holds a very large opening and closing ceremony which is held on ANZAC Oval.
